BTCCSquare news:

Anthropic has filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration after being designated a "supply chain risk" by the Pentagon, marking the first time an American company has received this label typically reserved for foreign adversaries. The conflict arose when Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth demanded the removal of usage restrictions on Anthropic's AI models, which the company refused, citing ethical concerns over lethal autonomous weapons and mass surveillance.

The blacklisting could cost Anthropic billions in projected 2026 revenue, as defense contractors must now certify they do not use its technology. The case highlights growing tensions between AI developers and government agencies over military applications of artificial intelligence.
